Certified 100% Normal.

I hate it when someone takes my picture. I hate it more when they take the picture; make Wanted Posters of it and then put it in the Post Office. I hate it because strange people point at me and make rude comments and I end up usually telling the police I have friends with a sick sense of humour. My friends do things like this, because I don't forward their stupid emails and they end up having bad luck. That is what I hate. Today anyway.

I use to work in the Mental Health field. I enjoyed being with them. Like Autistic Children. They seem to me to just live in different rooms than us, in their minds, most of the time. Sometimes you end up in the same room some times you don't. They see things differently than "normal" people that is all. Like when I tried to talk to them or something. I felt like they were seeing me as a talking pickle or something. Now who in their right mind would listen to a talking pickle? Not me. So why should they?

It is the same way with Schizophrenic type people. Like one child asked me. If I talk to God like what you call, praying. Why isn't it OK when he talks to me?

Then there is the Downs Syndrome child that thought people without round faces and eyes looked ugly and scary to him. Plus they actually got married and had babies. How could they do that to each other? He asked me once.

See. Strange but true. The old question, "Just what the hell is normal any way?" Well I sure as heck don't know. That is enough for now I got to take my Prozac, which I take while having my special smoke for my failing eyesight. Now it's time to do something special with some pictures of my friends.

I agree with tangerine, except I'm not French Canadian...I'm part American Indian...that doesn't count does it. I have no excuse.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. It's not the camera, he's just very protective of his food and when he settles in for a nap, how dare you get up to tee-tee...it's nap time for Pete's sake! I tell him to knock it off and get up anyway.

Autistic people are a part of the Undead Army.

I haven't met any of the troops yet Feb 23, 6PA(Post-Apocalypse), but I'm sure they are interesting.

Thanks for the blog comment :D

I appreciate your "normallacy". :) It's amuzing to me.

"hate" and "love" are confusingly similar, so if you "become what you love" then you also "become what you hate" to a lesser or larger extent, it's very difficult to concieve where they are split, you'd have to "redefine" hate.

I understand completely. Those pictures never turn out right anyway. I mean would it have killed them to remember that back-lighting does nothing to minimize my massive forehead? Keep writing, you are a joy to read.

I didn't even know you could make hypoallergenic cats. Well, breed anyway.

I agree with autistic children. Sometimes, honestly, I tend to be ignorant but a whole new perspective like yours is enlightening.

Hey, this comment does not relate to your blog, but to the comment that you left for me on my blog. Thanks a lot for your suggestions. But I am not a good writer to make a book out of it. I just have started nurturing this hobby of mine... so, if you like the snaps there, i would suggest to keep checking regularly... coz, i post daily... and none of them are copied: all are taken by me using my one and only digital camera...

Once again, thanks for the suggestion.

People say I'm not a normal teenager, but I think what they're trying to say is I'm not the average teenager. There is no normal... that I am aware of... But, just because I am not the average teenager, it doensn't mean I'm abnormal...

Hi Chumly,

I'm really happy to have found you...so glad you dropped by.

This almost exactly describes how I think about people who live in alternate mental states. I loved the bit about the talking pickle. And downs folk are quite possibly the sweetest people on earth. I love that boy's take on round faced people.

It's surprising a depressed pill- popper like yourself hates it when his picture is taken-especially if you can't even see what's going on anyways.

Stellar writing sir.

And thanks for the blog comment.

I too am a person that is not keen in having my picture taken. Your post is wonderful. Will surely be linking you if you don't mind.

I hate having my picture taken too! Gives me anxiety, and makes scrapbooking a challenge. EVERYBODY looks like shit in the photos I take these days, so I let the kids do it.

What you are saying about autism- well I am familiar with something similar to that- it's called brainwashed by t.v. and neglected since birth by selfish, greedy middle management assholes, and it sucks. No matter how hard he tries, there's this wall of sandpaper, and zero tenderness, and my insides are all shredded up. The better he gets, the weaker I seem to feel. I need healing company bad.

I've learned all I can from living in this pressure cooker. I could never wish ill on him, but I'll die soon if something doesn't give.

And just so everybody knows- I worship my children. They are absolutely perfect in my eyes. My daughter nursed me back from the brink of death a while back. My son's touch is like medicine. I love them with all my heart.
